Nimbus Group AB (publ) The Aquador 400 HT has been named a finalist in the 2026 Motor Boat Awards, in the category Best Family Cruiser – Motor Yachts up to 45ft, one of the most prestigious international awards in the motorboat industry. The awards are organized by Motor Boat & Yachting and judged by an experienced panel of international boat testers and marine journalists.
The Motor Boat Awards are presented annually to recognize the best new motorboats on the market, based on extensive sea trials and evaluations. Judging focuses on design, performance, comfort, practicality and overall ownership experience. The Best Family Cruiser category highlights boats that successfully combine safety, generous living spaces and smart solutions for family life on board, whether for day trips or longer cruising.
The Aquador 400 HT is the largest model ever built by Aquador, measuring just over 12 metres in length with a beam of nearly four metres. With three cabins offering up to eight berths, a separate shower compartment and well-designed social areas, the boat delivers a high level of comfort for the entire family. The distinctive hardtop design, safe walkaround decks and flexible layout make the Aquador 400 HT particularly well suited for family cruising in varying conditions.
“Being named a finalist in the Motor Boat Awards is a strong recognition of the Aquador 400 HT’s position in the international premium segment. The boat has been developed with the needs of modern families in mind, without compromising on design, performance or comfort. This nomination confirms that our ambition and execution are well recognised on a global level,” says Johan Inden, CEO of Nimbus Group.
The Aquador 400 HT premiered internationally earlier this year and forms part of Aquador’s most extensive product renewal in more than 20 years. The model has already received significant attention and continues to strengthen Aquador’s position as a leading brand in the premium family cruiser segment.
The winners of the 2026 Motor Boat Awards will be announced at a ceremony held Tuesday Jan 26, 2026 in conjunction with boot Düsseldorf 2026, the world's largest indoor boat show.
